South Carnival is a nine-member Jeju-based band who specialize in the infectious and rhythmic Jamaican-style ska music. The band released their first album “South Carnival” in 2012 with all songs written in the Jeju dialect.
Namgida is a newly formed trio from Jeju. The group has become well known for their performances of upbeat, modern folk music.
Located opposite to Jeju Jungang Girl’s High School, Elliott’s Chair cafe hosts musical performances mostly of Jeju and Seoul bands twice a month (every second Saturday of the month).
