Hallim Park is a well-known tourist attraction in Jeju and holds monthly events of usually flower-related shows. Currently the park is inviting visitors for its 14th Ume (plum) Blossom Festival.

Founder of the park Song Bong Gyu has developed the site into a popular tourist attraction after purchasing it in 1971. Since then Song has opened to the public such sites as: Hyeopjae Cave (Korean Natural Monument No. 236) and Ssangyong (Double Dragon) Cave in 1983, as well as the subtropical botanical garden in 1986, Jae Am folk village in 1987, the stone exhibition hall and the Jeju stone and bonsai garden (both in 1996).

Program includes:
Plum blossom pictorial poem exhibition.
Photo contest (Participants are invited to take their picture with plum blossoms and upload the photo onto the park’s website). Winners will receive gifts.
Plum bonsai exhibition.
Plum blossom tea and plum tea tasting.
