The Jeju Cine Club hosts a free movie event on the first Tuesday of every month at the Jeju Movie Culture Art Center. This month will see the screening of the award-winning Belgian-French film “Le huitième jour” (The Eighth Day),” a story about the relationship between Georges, a Down syndrome sufferer, and Harry, a workaholic businessman. The Club will also provide an opportunity to hear a guest speaker talk on the subject of French culture.

Lee Gi Jeong, executive secretary of the Jeju Disabled Peoples Human Rights Film Festival, will also be a guest speaker at the Cine Talk.

The event is co-hosted with Institut Culturel Français and cultural agency PAN.
