Jeju United FC will celebrate their first home game of the K League Classic (formerly called K-League) season against Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma FC on March 9 with a range of pre-match events to entertain the crowd.
Events include use of a free (limited time only) rollerblade rink for an hour and a half prior to the start of the game. The rink is free for 30 minutes with time following charged at 1,000 won for children and 2,000 won for adults for an added 30 minutes.
Spectators at the Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo will receive a free coupon to obtain a serving of omegi tteok (Jeju traditional millet ball cake) at the entrance. United captain, Oh Seung Bum, designated as the club’s ambassador of the day, will offer free hugs to his fans after the game.
A free shuttle bus will run from Jeju City to Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo City approximately an hour and a half before the start of the match. Stops are:
- Halla University (in Nohyeong-dong),
- Jeju Sports Complex (Ora 1-dong),
- Jeju City Hall (Ido 2-dong),
- Nohyeong Catholic church (in Nohyeong-dong),
- Buyeong 1 Cha APT (in Nohyeong-dong),
- Jeju Fire Station (Ido 2-dong),
- Hanaro Mart (in Ildo-dong).
The bus will return via the above stops 30 minutes after the match finishes.
