Turandot, the famous opera by Giacomo Puccini, has been recreated as a Korean musical by a Korea orchestra company Romance Art. While keeping to the same plot, the musical will offer an easier and lighter atmosphere for Korean audiences. The original songs were arranged into Korean using the MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) program and the scenes change faster than the original. Dance moves which combine Chinese martial art and ballet will heighten the dramatic effect of the performance.
