Jeju Stone Park is to offer a series of Korean traditional craft programs from April to July. The first of the series will be learning craft using the vine Daengdaengi deonggul (Cocculus trilobus). The vine grows well anywhere on Jeju so was traditionally used for making everyday items such as farmer’s hats and baskets. One reason Jeju’s traditional craft art has been considered superior was the quality of Jeju’s Daengdaengi deonggul.

Participants in this program will learn to make a variety of items such as baskets.
Note: No English translations of lessons will be available.
