The Cafe Seba will offer a rare opportunity to enjoy the trumpet work of rising star Bae Sun Yong. Bae is considered to be one of the most talented young trumpeters in Korea. Majoring in music at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, he has performed in the popular ska band Kingston Rudieska as well as a number of Korean professional bands such as JSFA and Seo Young Do Electric Ensemble. In 2009, he was designated as a Rising Star by “Jazz People”, the Korean monthly jazz magazine. His first album “Bugler’s Holiday” released in July, 2012, features the tune “The Lady of Seba”, which was inspired by a previous visit to the Cafe Seba.
