Jeju’s local newspaper Jemin Ilbo will exhibit its collection of press photographs on the Jeju Massacre at the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park. The park was the focus for relatives to mourn loved ones during the official ceremony earlier this month. The paper had an instrumental role in bringing new light on the history of the tragedy when it began interviewing survivors in 1988. The collected materials of the special articles and photographs have been exhibited every April since 2011. At the exhibition visitors can see the real stories of the massacre and related social issues.
