Seogwipo’s Jeju World Cup Stadium is expected to be packed with Jeju United FC fans this Saturday as the Orange take on Gangwon FC in their third home game.

As part of the team’s effort to attract fans a number of events have been planned before and after the game. Midfielder Kwon Soon Hyung is the nominated ambassador for the day and will offer free hugs to 200 lucky fans after the match.

Additional events available from 1:30 p.m. to the start of the game include a Kids-zone (playground for kids), a food court selling hot dogs, churros, waffles and chicken, as well as a rollerblade rink which is free for 30 minutes with time following charged at 1,000 won for children and 2,000 won for adults for an added 30 minutes.

Tickets: adults: 6,000 won; secondary school students: 3,000 won; elementary school students:  2,000 won. (Preschoolers, people over 65 and the disabled are admitted free of charge.) Tickets can be obtained from World Cup Stadium on the day of the match.

A free shuttle bus will run from Jeju City to Jeju World Cup Stadium in Seogwipo City approximately an hour and a half before the start of the match. Stops are:

  • Jeju Sports Complex (Ora 1-dong),
  • Jeju City Hall (Ido 2-dong),
  • Nohyeong Catholic Church (in Nohyeong-dong),
  • Buyeong 1 Cha APT (in Nohyeong-dong),
  • Jeju Fire Station (Ido 2-dong),
  • Hanaro Mart (in Ildo-dong),
  • Block 208, Oedo Buyeong APT (in Nohyeong-dong)

The bus will return via the above stops 30 minutes after the match finishes.
