Jeju Stone Park is to run lessons in traditional craft as part of a two stage program designed to highlight traditional Jeju culture. Targeted at families with elementary school students, the experience will consist of two parts; the first is advice in how to make the Korean musical instruments Danso (Korean short bamboo flute) and Sogo (Korean traditional small hand-held drum). The second is on learning Jeju traditional thatched roofing methods.

Note: No English translations of lessons will be available.

Time/date:

  • Musical instrument making: May 4 and 18. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Thatched roof house experience: May 11 and 25. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
