Jeju’s two largest art museums will hold a number of special events for children to celebrate Children’s Day (May 5). The Jeju Museum of Art will offer families with a child a special discount on the museum’s current exhibition “My Chagall, Your Picasso”(*).

Other programs of interest to school children include experience in making badges. The hands-on experience will run from 10 a.m., to 2 p.m., on that day.

Meanwhile, at the Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, the “Beyond Realism” exhibition is free to family visitors who are accompanied by a child. The museum also offers alternative experience programs aimed at children such as the making of photo frames for selected photos. This program will operate in the lobby and the outdoor park of the museum from 10 a.m., to 5 p.m.
